Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
दर्शनात् स्पर्शनात् पानात् तथा गड़्ेति कीर्तनात् । पुनात्यपुण्यान् पुरुषान शतशो5थ सहस्रश:,गंगाजी अपने दर्शन, स्पर्श, जलपान तथा अपने गंगानामके कीर्तनसे सैकड़ों और हजारों पापियोंको तार देती हैं
darśanāt sparśanāt pānāt tathā gaṅgeti kīrtanāt | punāty apuṇyān puruṣān śataśo 'tha sahasraśaḥ ||
သိဒ္ဓက ဆိုသည်မှာ—သူမကို မြင်ခြင်း၊ ထိခြင်း၊ ရေကို သောက်ခြင်း၊ ထို့အပြင် “ဂင်္ဂါ” ဟူသော နာမကို ရွတ်ဆိုကာ ချီးမွမ်းခြင်းတို့ဖြင့်၊ ဂင်္ဂါသည် အပြစ်ရှိသူများကို ရာချီ၊ ထောင်ချီ သန့်စင်ပေးတတ်၏။
