काम्यया पृष्टवांस्त्वं मां ततो व्याह्मतमुत्तमम् । अनतिक्रमणीया सा कृत्स्नौलेकैस्त्रिभि: सदा
Bhīṣma uvāca: kāmyayā pṛṣṭavāṁs tvaṁ māṁ tato vyākhyātam uttamam | anatikramaṇīyā sā kṛtsnair lokais tribhiḥ sadā ||
ဘိဿမက ဆို၏— «သင်သည် သိလိုစိတ်ဖြင့် ငါ့ကို မေးမြန်းခဲ့သဖြင့်၊ ငါသည် အကြောင်းအရာကို ကောင်းစွာ ပြည့်စုံအောင် ရှင်းပြခဲ့သည်။ ထိုအမိန့်သည် သုံးလောကတစ်လျှောက်ရှိ သတ္တဝါအပေါင်းတို့ကပင် မလွန်ကျူးသင့်သော အရာဖြစ်သည်»။
