प्रयत्नं कृतवन्तो5पि दृश्यन्ते ह्फला नरा: । मार्गत्यायशतैरर्थानमार्गश्वापर: सुखी

Transliteration

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | prayatnaṃ kṛtavanto 'pi dṛśyante hy aphalā narāḥ | mārgatyāyaśatair arthān amārgaś cāparaḥ sukhī ||

Translation

ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရက ပြောသည်– “ကြိုးစားအားထုတ်သူများပင် အကျိုးမရဘဲ တွေ့ရသည်။ တစ်ယောက်က တရားသဖြင့် နည်းလမ်းရာချီဖြင့် ဥစ္စာကို ရှာဖွေနေသော်လည်း၊ အခြားတစ်ယောက်က မတရားလမ်းကို လိုက်၍ ဥစ္စာအရ သာယာချမ်းသာသကဲ့သို့ မြင်ရသည်။”
