एक एव चरेद् धर्म न धर्मध्वजिको भवेत् | धर्मवाणिजका होते ये धर्ममुपभुज्जते
eka eva cared dharmaṁ na dharmadhvajiko bhavet | dharmavāṇijakā hote ye dharmam upabhuñjate ||
ဘီရှ္မက မိန့်ကြားသည်— လူသည် တစ်ယောက်တည်းဖြစ်စေ ဓမ္မကို ကျင့်သုံးရမည်; ဓမ္မကို အလံတင်ပြ၍ အပြသသမား မဖြစ်စေရ။ ဓမ္မကို အသက်မွေးဝမ်းကျောင်းအဖြစ် ပြောင်းလဲကာ အကျိုးအမြတ်အတွက် ‘စားသုံး’ သောသူတို့သည် တရားသီလကို ရောင်းဝယ်သူများသာ ဖြစ်ကြသည်။
