अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)

एतत्‌ पदमनुद्धिग्नमेतद्‌ ब्रह्म सनातनम्‌ । शास्त्रवेदाड़विदुषामेतद्‌ ध्यानं परं पदम्‌

etat padam anuddhignam etad brahma sanātanam | śāstra-vedāṅga-viduṣām etad dhyānaṁ paraṁ padam ||

ဝါယုက မိန့်တော်မူသည်— «ဤအရာသည် စိတ်မလှုပ်ရှားသော၊ မနှောင့်ယှက်သော အမြင့်ဆုံး အခြေအနေဖြစ်၏။ ဤတစ်ခုတည်းပင် ထာဝရ ဘြဟ္မန်ဖြစ်၏။ သာသနာကျမ်းများနှင့် ဝေဒများကို အကူအညီပညာရပ်များနှင့်တကွ အမှန်တကယ် သိမြင်သူတို့အတွက် ဤတစ်ခုတည်းသာ အမြင့်ဆုံး ရောက်ရာ—အမြင့်ဆုံး အားကိုးရာအဖြစ် သတိဓာတ်ဖြင့် ဆင်ခြင်သင့်သော ပန်းတိုင်ဖြစ်၏»။
