कथितं त्वनयासत्यं गायत्रया कन्यया दिवि । विजेष्याम्यवशानू्‌ सर्व ब्राद्मणांश्वर्मवासस:

Transliteration

kathitaṃ tv anayā satyaṃ gāyatrayā kanyayā divi | vijeṣyāmy avaśān sarvān brāhmaṇān carmavāsasaḥ |

Translation

အာర్జုနက ပြောသည်— «ကောင်းကင်၌ ဂါယတြီဟူသော မိန်းကလေးက ‘ဗြာဟ္မဏတို့သည် က္ෂတ္တရိယတို့ထက် မြင့်မြတ်သည်’ ဟု ကြေညာခဲ့သော်လည်း ထိုစကားသည် မမှန်။ တိရစ္ဆာန်အရေကို ဝတ်ဆင်သော ဗြာဟ္မဏတို့သည် အများအားဖြင့် အားနည်း၍ အခြားသူတို့အပေါ် မူတည်နေရသည်; ငါသည် ထိုသူတို့အားလုံးကို အနိုင်ယူမည်။ သုံးလောကလုံးတွင် ဘုရားသခင်ဖြစ်စေ လူဖြစ်စေ ငါ့အာဏာကို ဖယ်ရှားနိုင်သူ မရှိ; ထို့ကြောင့် ငါသည် ဗြာဟ္မဏထက် မြင့်မြတ်သည်»။
