Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
एष तस्यानवद्यस्य नारदस्य महात्मन: । संदेशो देवपूजार्थ तं तथा कुरु पाण्डव,पाण्डुनन्दन! उन अनिन्द्य महात्मा देवर्षि नारदजीका ही यह संदेश है कि महादेवजीकी पूजा करनी चाहिये। इसलिये तुम भी ऐसा ही करो
eṣa tasyānavadyasya nāradasya mahātmanaḥ | saṃdeśo devapūjārtha taṃ tathā kuru pāṇḍava, pāṇḍunandana ||
ဘီရှ္မက ပြောသည်— «ဤသည်မှာ အပြစ်ကင်းစင်သော မဟာစိတ်ရှိသည့် ဒေဝရ္ဓိ နာရဒ၏ သတင်းစကားဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ဘုရားပူဇော်ရေးအတွက် ပေးအပ်ထားခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် ပाण्डဝ—ပाण्डု၏သား—သင်လည်း ထိုအတိုင်းပင် လုပ်လေ»။
