Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
तद्धक्तस्तद्गतो नित्य॑ तन्निष्ठस्तत्परायण: । भज पुत्र महादेवं ततः प्राप्स्यसि चेप्सितम्
tadbhaktas tadgato nityaṁ tannisṭhas tatparāyaṇaḥ | bhaja putra mahādevaṁ tataḥ prāpsyasi cepsitam ||
ဝါသုဒေဝ မိန့်တော်မူသည်– «သူ့ကိုသာ ဘက်တော်ထား၍ စိတ်ကို အမြဲတမ်း သူ့ထံ၌ စူးစိုက်ထားလော့။ ထိုတစ်ခုတည်းသော သစ္စာကတိ၌ ခိုင်မြဲစွာ တည်ကြည်၍ သူ့ကိုသာ အမြင့်ဆုံး အားကိုးရာ၊ ခိုလှုံရာအဖြစ် ယူလော့။ သားရေ၊ မဟာဒေဝကို အစဉ်မပြတ် ပူဇော်လော့—ထိုအခါ သင်လိုချင်သမျှကို ရလိမ့်မည်»။
