पापोंके कारण दुर्गम नरकमें पड़े हुए प्राणी भूख-प्याससे पीड़ित हो अतामें जलते हुए पकाये जाते हैं। वहाँ उस यातनासे निकल भागनेका कोई उपाय नहीं है ।।
andhakāraṃ tamo ghoraṃ praviśanty alpabuddhayaḥ | tatra dharmaṃ pravakṣyāmi yena durgāṇi santaret ||
ဉာဏ်နည်းသူတို့သည် ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ် အမှောင်ထု—အနက်ရောင်အမှောင်သက်သက်ထဲသို့ ဝင်ရောက်ကြသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် ထိုကဲ့သို့သော ခက်ခဲသည့် အခြေအနေများကို ဖြတ်ကျော်နိုင်စေမည့် သ္ဓမ္မ၏ လမ်းကို ငါကြေညာမည်။
