धौग्य उवाच भिन्नभाण्डं च खट्वां च कुक्कुटं शुनकं॑ तथा । अप्रशस्तानि सर्वाणि यश्न वृक्षो गृहेरुह:

Transliteration

Dhaumya uvāca: bhinnabhāṇḍaṃ ca khaṭvāṃ ca kukkuṭaṃ śunakaṃ tathā | apraśastāni sarvāṇi yaś ca vṛkṣo gṛheruhaḥ ||

Translation

ဓောမ്യက ပြောသည်— «ကွဲပျက်သောအိုးအခွက်၊ ကွဲပျက်သောအိပ်ရာ၊ ကြက်ဖ၊ ခွေး—ထို့အပြင် အိမ်အတွင်းဝင်းကျင်၌ ပေါက်လာသော သစ်ပင်မည်သည့်အမျိုးအစားမဆို—ဤအရာအားလုံးကို မင်္ဂလာမကောင်းဟု သတ်မှတ်ကြသည်။ စနစ်တကျရှိသော အိမ်ထောင်တစ်ခုတွင် ထုံးတမ်းအရ ဤအရာတို့ကို ရှောင်ကြဉ်ကြပြီး အိမ်တွင်းညီညွတ်မှုနှင့် သင့်လျော်မှုကို ချိုးဖောက်နိုင်သည်ဟု ယုံကြည်ကြသည်။»
