शरण्य: सर्वभूतानां विश्वास्य: सर्वजन्तुषु । अनुद्वेगकरो लोके न चाप्युद्धिजते सदा
śaraṇyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ viśvāsyaḥ sarvajantuṣu | anudvegakaro loke na cāpy uddvijate sadā ||
ဘီရှ္မက မိန့်တော်မူသည်— «သူသည် သတ္တဝါအားလုံးအတွက် ခိုလှုံရာဖြစ်၍ သတ္တဝါတိုင်း၏ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းကို ရသည်။ လောက၌ သူသည် အခြားသူတို့ကို စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားအနှောင့်အယှက် မဖြစ်စေသကဲ့သို့၊ မည်သူ့ကြောင့်မျှ ကိုယ်တိုင်လည်း အမြဲတမ်း မအနှောင့်အယှက်ခံရ။»
