देवकार्यपरो निन्‍्यं॑ जुह्मानो जातवेदसम्‌ | पौण्डरीकस्य यज्ञस्य फल प्राप्रोत्यनुत्तमम्‌

Transliteration

Bhīṣma uvāca | devakāryaparo nityaṁ juhvāno jātavedasam | pauṇḍarīkasya yajñasya phalaṁ prāpnoty anuttamam ||

Translation

ဘိဿမက ပြောသည်—ဒေဝတာတို့အပေါ် တာဝန်ဝတ္တရားများကို အမြဲတမ်း အလေးထားဆောင်ရွက်၍ နေ့စဉ် မီးထဲသို့ အာဟုတိများကို ပူဇော်ကာ၊ မွေးဖွားမှုအားလုံးကို သိမြင်သူ အဂ္နိ—«ဇာတဝေဒသ» ထံ ဆက်ကပ်သူသည် ပေါဏ္ဍရိက (Pauṇḍarīka) ယဇ်၏ မယှဉ်နိုင်သော အကျိုးကို ရရှိသည်။
