Praise of Ācāra as the Basis of Longevity, Fame, and Prosperity
न हीदृशमनायुष्यं लोके किंचन विद्यते । यादृशं पुरुषस्येह परदारोपसेवनम्
na hīdṛśam anāyuṣyaṁ loke kiṁcana vidyate | yādṛśaṁ puruṣasyeha paradāropasevanam ||
ဘီရှ္မက မိန့်ကြားသည်– «ဤလောက၌ အခြားသူ၏ ဇနီးနှင့် ဆက်ဆံခြင်းကဲ့သို့ အသက်ရှည်မှုကို ဖျက်ဆီးသော အရာမရှိ။ ယောက်ျားတစ်ယောက်အတွက် ဤနေရာ၌ အခြားသူ၏ အိမ်ထောင်ဖက်ကို လိုက်လံခံစားခြင်းကဲ့သို့ အသက်ကို မြန်မြန်တိုစေသော လုပ်ရပ် မရှိ»။
