Praise of Ācāra as the Basis of Longevity, Fame, and Prosperity

लोष्ठमर्दी तृणच्छेदी नखखादी च यो नर: । नित्योच्छिष्ट: संकुसुको नेहायुर्विन्दते महत्‌

loṣṭamardī tṛṇacchedī nakhakhādī ca yo naraḥ | nityocchiṣṭaḥ saṅkusuko nehāyur vindate mahat ||

ဘီရှ္မက မိန့်ကြားသည်– မြေခဲကို အမြဲဖိချေသူ၊ မြက်တံကို ချိုးဖျက်သူ၊ လက်သည်းကို ကိုက်စားသူ၊ စားကျန်အစာကြောင့် အမြဲမသန့်ရှင်းဘဲ စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားကာ မတည်ငြိမ်သူသည် ဤလောက၌ ရှည်လျားသော အသက်တမ်းကို မရနိုင်။
