शतक्रतुरुवाच येषां वेदा निहिता वै गुहायां मनीषिणां सत्यवतां महात्मनाम् | तेषां त्वयैकेन महात्मनास्मि वृद्धस्तस्मात् प्रीतिमांस्तेडहमद्य
śatakratur uvāca yeṣāṃ vedā nihitā vai guhāyāṃ manīṣiṇāṃ satyavatāṃ mahātmanām | teṣāṃ tvayā ekena mahātmanā asmi vṛddhas tasmāt prītimāṃs te ’ham adya ||
သတကရတု (အိန္ဒြာ) က ပြောသည်– «နှလုံးဂူအတွင်း၌ ဝေဒများကို အမှန်တကယ် ထိန်းသိမ်းထားသော သစ္စာပြောသူ၊ ဉာဏ်ပညာရှိသော မဟာဝိညာဉ်တို့အနက် သင်သည် အထွတ်အမြတ်ဖြစ်၏။ မဟာဝိညာဉ်ရေ၊ သင်တစ်ဦးတည်း၏ ကောင်းကျိုးကို စိတ်ထားကာကွယ်ပေးမှုကြောင့် ငါသည် စည်းစိမ်တိုးပွားလာခဲ့၏။ ထို့ကြောင့် ယနေ့ ငါသည် သင့်အပေါ် ချစ်ခင်နှစ်သက်မှုဖြင့် ပြည့်ဝနေ၏။»
