Gautama–Śakra Saṃvāda: Karma, Loka-bheda, and the Restoration of the Elephant
गौतम उवाच प्राजापत्या: सन्ति लोका महान्तो नाकस्य पृषछ्ठे पुष्कला वीतशोका: । मनीषिता: सर्वलोकोद्धवानां तत्र त्वाहं हस्तिनं यातयिष्ये
gautama uvāca prājāpatyāḥ santi lokā mahānto nākasya pṛṣṭhe puṣkalā vītaśokāḥ | manīṣitāḥ sarvalokoddhavānāṃ tatra tvāhaṃ hastinaṃ yātayiṣye ||
ဂေါတမက ပြောသည်– «အို မင်းကြီး၊ ကောင်းကင်၏ အမြင့်ဆုံးထိပ်ပေါ်တွင် ပရဇာပတိ (Prajāpati) ၏ အလွန်ကျယ်ဝန်းသော လောကများ ရှိသည်။ ထိုလောကများသည် စည်းစိမ်ပြည့်ဝ၍ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတောက်ပကာ ဝမ်းနည်းမှုကင်းစင်သည်။ စကြဝဠာရှိ သတ္တဝါအားလုံးက ထိုသို့သော လောကများကို ရောက်လိုကြသည်။ ထိုနေရာသို့ ငါသွားပြီး မင်းကို ငါ့ဆင်ကို ပြန်ပေးစေမည်»။
