नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा
Nahūṣa Episode and the Commendation of Lamp-Gifting and Household Offerings
निमीलय स्वनयने जटां यावद् विशामि ते । स्थाणुभूतस्य तस्याथ जटां प्राविशदच्युत:
nimīlaya svanayane jaṭāṁ yāvad viśāmi te | sthāṇubhūtasya tasyātha jaṭāṁ prāviśad acyutaḥ ||
ဘိဿမက ပြောသည်—“အရှင်ရဟန်း၊ ခဏမျက်စိပိတ်ထားပါ။ သင်၏ ဇဋာ (ဆံပင်အုပ်) ထဲသို့ ကျွန်ုပ် ဝင်မည်” ဟုဆို၏။ ရဟန်းအဂஸ္တျသည် မျက်စိပိတ်ကာ တိုင်တစ်တိုင်ကဲ့သို့ မလှုပ်မယှက် ရပ်နေသော်၊ စည်းကမ်းမလွန်ကျူးသော တေဇောကြီး ဘೃဂုသည် သင်၏ ဇဋာထဲသို့ ဝင်ရောက်၍ ဘုရင်ကို ကောင်းကင်မှ ကျဆင်းစေလို၏။ ထိုအချိန်တည်းမှာပင် အိန္ဒြာတူ ဘုရင် နဟုရှသည် ထိုရဟန်းထံသို့ ရောက်လာကာ မိမိ၏ ဝါဟန (သယ်ဆောင်သူ) အဖြစ် အသုံးချလို၏။
