Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla
द्विविधो हि स्मृतो गन्ध इष्टोडनिष्ट श्व पुष्पज: । इष्टगन्धानि देवानां पुष्पाणीति विभावय
dvividho hi smṛto gandha iṣṭo 'niṣṭaś ca puṣpajaḥ | iṣṭagandhāni devānāṁ puṣpāṇīti vibhāvaya ||
သုက္ရက ပြောသည်– «ပန်းမှ ထွက်ပေါ်လာသော အနံ့သည် နှစ်မျိုးဟု မှတ်ယူကြသည်—နှစ်သက်ဖွယ်နှင့် မနှစ်သက်ဖွယ်။ ဤအချက်ကို ကောင်းစွာ သိမှတ်လော့—နှစ်သက်ဖွယ် အနံ့ရှိသော ပန်းတို့သည် နတ်ဒေဝတို့အတွက် ချစ်မြတ်နိုးဖွယ် ဖြစ်သည်»။
