वायुदेव उवाच गार्हस्थ्यं धर्ममाश्रित्य मया वा मद्दविधेन वा | किमवश्यं धरे कार्य कि वा कृत्वा कृतं भवेत्‌

Transliteration

vāyudeva uvāca | gārhasthyaṁ dharmam āśritya mayā vā madvidhena vā | kim avaśyaṁ dhare kāryaṁ kiṁ vā kṛtvā kṛtaṁ bhavet ||

Translation

ဝါယုဒေဝက ပြောသည်— «အို မြေမယ်တော်၊ အိမ်ထောင်ရှင်ဓမ္မကို အားကိုး၍ ငါဖြစ်စေ ငါကဲ့သို့ အခြားသူဖြစ်စေ မဖြစ်မနေ ဆောင်ရွက်ရမည့် တာဝန်သည် အဘယ်နည်း။ ထို့ပြင် အိမ်ထောင်ရှင်ဘဝသည် မည်သို့ပြုလျှင် အပြည့်အဝ ပြည့်စုံ၍ ‘လုပ်သင့်သမျှ လုပ်ပြီးပြီ’ ဟု ဆိုနိုင်မည်နည်း»။
