एकचक्रां ततो गत्वा पाण्डवा: संशितव्रता: । वेदाध्ययनसम्पन्नास्ते5भवन्‌ ब्रह्मचारिण:,तदनन्तर कठोर व्रतका पालन करनेवाले पाण्डव एकचक्रा नगरीमें जाकर वेदाध्ययनपरायण ब्रह्मचारी बन गये

Transliteration

ekacakrāṃ tato gatvā pāṇḍavāḥ saṃśitavratāḥ | vedādhyayanasampannās te 'bhavan brahmacāriṇaḥ ||

Translation

ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပာယန မိန့်ကြားသည်—ထို့နောက် တင်းကျပ်သော ဝရတကို ခိုင်မြဲစွာ ထိန်းသိမ်းသော ပाण्डဝတို့သည် ဧကချက္ရာ မြို့သို့ သွားကြ၏။ ထိုနေရာ၌ သူတို့သည် ဝေဒပညာကို လေ့လာအာရုံစိုက်သော စည်းကမ်းတကျ ဗြဟ္မစာရင်များအဖြစ် နေထိုင်ကြပြီး၊ လျှို့ဝှက်နေစဉ်တွင် ထိန်းချုပ်မှုနှင့် ပညာကို ဓမ္မ၏ အားကိုးရာအဖြစ် ရွေးချယ်ကြ၏။
