कद्रू-इन्द्र-स्तुतिः तथा नागानां तापनिवृत्तिः
Kadrū’s Hymn to Indra and the Nāgas’ Distress
गां विन्द्ता भगवता गोविन्देनामितौजसा । वराहरूपिणा चान्तर्विक्षेभितजलाविलम्,अमिततेजस्वी भगवान् गोविन्दने वराहरूपसे पृथ्वीको उपलब्ध करते समय उस समुद्रको भीतरसे मथ डाला था और उस मथित जलसे वह समस्त महासागर मलिन-सा जान पड़ता था
gāṁ vindatā bhagavatā govindenāmitaujasā | varāharūpiṇā cāntar vikṣebhita-jalāvilam ||
ရှောနကက ပြောသည်– «အတိုင်းမသိသော အင်အားတော်ရှိသည့် ဘုရားသခင် ဂိုဝိန္ဒသည် ဝရာဟ (တောဝက်) ရုပ်ကို ခံယူ၍ မြေကြီးကို ပြန်လည် ကယ်တင်ယူဆောင်သည့်အခါ သမုဒ္ဒရာကို အတွင်းမှပင် မွှေကာ လှုပ်ခတ်စေခဲ့၏။ ထိုမွှေထုတ်ထားသော ရေကြောင့် မဟာသမုဒ္ဒရာတစ်လျှောက်လုံး မဲမှိုင်းညစ်ညမ်းသကဲ့သို့ ထင်ရ၏»။
