अथ त्वाज्ञापयामास द्रौपद्या भूषणं बहु । आनीयतां वै कृष्णेति पुत्र दुर्योधनं तदा,इसलिये उन्होंने आज्ञा दी--'द्रौपदीके लिये बहुत-से आभूषण मँगाओ और मेरे पुत्र दुर्योधन तथा द्रौपदीको बड़ी धूमधामसे नगरमें ले आओ"
atha tvājñāpayāmāsa draupadyā bhūṣaṇaṃ bahu | ānīyatāṃ vai kṛṣṇeti putra duryodhanaṃ tadā |
ထို့နောက် သူက အမိန့်ထုတ်၍– «ဒရော်ပဒီအတွက် အလှဆင်အဆင်တန်ဆာများ များစွာ ယူလာကြ။ ထို့ပြင် ကృష్ణာ (ဒရော်ပဒီ) ကို ငါ့သား ဒုရျောဓနနှင့်အတူ မြို့ထဲသို့ အခမ်းအနားကြီးဖြင့် ခေါ်လာကြ» ဟု ဆို하였다။
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights how rulers use ceremony and material splendor to signal honor and political legitimacy; ethically, it invites reflection on whether public display aligns with dharma—especially regarding the agency and dignity of those being celebrated or moved for political ends.
A royal figure issues orders to procure abundant jewelry for Draupadī (called Kṛṣṇā) and to bring her along with his son Duryodhana into the city in a grand, public manner.
