बालो<पि यौवन प्राप्तो मानुषेषु विशाम्पते । सवस्त्रिषु परं वीर: प्रकर्षमगमद् बली,राजन्! अवस्थामें बालक होनेपर भी वह मनुष्योंमें युवक-सा प्रतीत होता था। उस बलवान वीरने सम्पूर्ण अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंमें बड़ी निपुणता प्राप्त की थी
bālo ’pi yauvana-prāpto mānuṣeṣu viśāmpate | sarvāstreṣu paraṃ vīraḥ prakarṣam agamad balī rājān ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပာယနက ပြောသည်– လူတို့၏အရှင်တော်၊ သူသည် ကလေးဖြစ်နေသော်လည်း လူအစုအဝေးအတွင်း၌ ယောကျ်ားပျိုသို့ ရောက်ပြီးသူကဲ့သို့ ထင်ရှားနေ၏။ အင်အားကြီးသော ထိုသူရဲကောင်းသည် မင်းကြီး၊ လက်နက်အမျိုးမျိုးနှင့် စစ်ပညာအပေါင်းတို့တွင် ထူးချွန်သည့် အဆင့်သို့ ရောက်ရှိခဲ့၏။
