महानदीनितम्बांश्न गहनान् गिरिगह्दरान् । सन्ति नित्यहिमा देशा निर्वक्षमृगपक्षिण:
mahānadī-nitambāṁś ca gahanān giri-gahvarān | santi nitya-himā deśā nirvṛkṣa-mṛga-pakṣiṇaḥ ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပါယနက ပြောသည်– «ဤလမ်းကြောင်းပေါ်တွင် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် မြစ်ကြီးများ၏ အန္တရာယ်ပြင်းထန်သော ကမ်းပါးများနှင့် တောင်ကြားနက်ရှိုင်းများစွာကို တွေ့မြင်ခဲ့သည်။ ဤနေရာတွင် နှင်းက အစဉ်တစိုက် တင်ကျန်နေသော ဒေသများလည်းရှိပြီး—အလွန်အမင်း ရှင်းလင်းကင်းမဲ့သဖြင့် သစ်ပင်မရှိ၊ တိရစ္ဆာန်နှင့် ငှက်တို့၏ အရိပ်အယောင်တောင် မတွေ့ရ»။
