Pāṇḍu’s Marriages, Conquests, and Triumphal Return (पाण्डोर्विवाह-विजय-प्रत्यागमनम्)
वैशम्पायन उवाच ततः सत्यवती भीष्मं वाचा संसज्जमानया । विहसन्तीव सत्रीडमिदं वचनमब्रवीत्,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! तब सत्यवती कुछ हँसती और साथ ही लजाती हुई भीष्मजीसे इस प्रकार बोली। बोलते समय उसकी वाणी संकोचसे कुछ अस्पष्ट-सी हो जाती थी
vaiśampāyana uvāca tataḥ satyavatī bhīṣmaṃ vācā saṃsajjamānayā | vihasantīva sa-trīḍam idaṃ vacanam abravīt |
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပါယနက ပြောသည်—ထိုနောက် သတ္ယဝတီ (Satyavatī) သည် စိတ်ရှက်သွားသကဲ့သို့ အနည်းငယ် ပြုံးရယ်လျက်၊ မဆိုင်းမတွေး မပြောရဲသဖြင့် အသံတုန်ယိမ်းကာ ဘီရှ္မ (Bhīṣma) ထံသို့ ဤစကားကို ပြောလေသည်။ သူမ၏ စကားသံသည် အရှက်အကြောက်ကြောင့် အနည်းငယ် မရှင်းလင်းသကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်နေ하였다။
