नाराः प्रोक्ता आश्रयत्वाच्च तेषामतोपि नारायण एव वीन्द्र / मुक्ताश्च ये तु प्रपदंनु जग्मुरण्डोदकं यस्य कटाक्षमात्रात्

nārāḥ proktā āśrayatvācca teṣāmatopi nārāyaṇa eva vīndra / muktāśca ye tu prapadaṃnu jagmuraṇḍodakaṃ yasya kaṭākṣamātrāt

သူတို့ကို ‘နာရာḥ’ ဟု ခေါ်သည်မှာ သူ့ထံ ခိုလှုံရာယူကြသောကြောင့် ဖြစ်၏။ ထို့ကြောင့် အို ဗီန္ဒြ—ငှက်တို့တွင် အမြတ်ဆုံး (ဂရုဍ)၊ သူသည် အမှန်တကယ် ‘နာရာယဏ’ ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ထို့ပြင် သူ၏ ခြေတော်သို့ ရောက်ရှိကပ်လျက်သူတို့သည် မုက္ခတိကို ရကြ၏—အကြောင်းမှာ စကြဝဠာ၏ ပထမရေ (အဏ္ဍောဒက) သည် သူ၏ မျက်စိတစ်ချက်ကြည့်ရုံဖြင့်ပင် ပေါ်ပေါက်လာခဲ့သောကြောင့် ဖြစ်၏။
