सप्तदशो ऽध्यायः सूत उवाच / गरुडोक्तं कश्यपाय वक्ष्ये मृत्युञ्जयार्चनम् / उद्धारपूर्वकं पुण्यं सर्वदेवमयं मतम्
saptadaśo 'dhyāyaḥ sūta uvāca / garuḍoktaṃ kaśyapāya vakṣye mṛtyuñjayārcanam / uddhārapūrvakaṃ puṇyaṃ sarvadevamayaṃ matam
စူတက ပြောသည်—ဂရုဍက ကശ്യပအား သင်ကြားခဲ့သော မృత్యုဉ္ဇယ (သေမင်းကို အနိုင်ယူသူ) အာရ္စနာကို ငါဖော်ပြမည်။ ၎င်းသည် ဥဒ္ဓာရ (ကယ်တင်ထုတ်မြောက်ခြင်း) အစီအစဉ်များဖြင့် အရင်ပြုလုပ်သည့် မင်္ဂလာကောင်းသော ကုသိုလ်ကြီးမားသည့် ရိတုဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ဒေဝတားအားလုံးကို ကိုယ်စားပြုသည့်ဟု ယူဆကြသည်။
