FAQs

After being questioned by King Nimi, the great sages (the Yogendras) first honor him—along with his assembly and priests—and then reply affectionately.

The verse highlights Vedic decorum: before teaching, saintly persons reciprocate respect to the inquirer and acknowledge the sacred setting (the court, assembly, and priests), creating a proper atmosphere for spiritual instruction.

Approach spiritual discussions with respect and humility, and when sharing wisdom, respond with warmth and proper regard for others—this invites receptivity and preserves the devotional mood.
