न स्तुवीत न निन्देत कुर्वत: साध्वसाधु वा । वदतो गुणदोषाभ्यां वर्जित: समदृङ्मुनि: ॥ १६ ॥
na stuvīta na nindeta kurvataḥ sādhv asādhu vā vadato guṇa-doṣābhyāṁ varjitaḥ sama-dṛṅ muniḥ
တန်းတူမြင်မြင်ရှိသော သန့်ရှင်းသော မုနိသည် အခြားသူများက ကောင်းသောအလုပ် သို့မဟုတ် မကောင်းသောအလုပ်ကို လုပ်သည်ကို၊ မှန်ကန်စွာ သို့မဟုတ် မှားယွင်းစွာ ပြောသည်ကို မြင်သော်လည်း မချီးမွမ်း မကဲ့ရဲ့။ ဂုဏ်နှင့် दोष၏ နှစ်ဖက်စွဲမှ ကင်းလွတ်နေသည်။
