Sage Parāśara (narrating to Maitreya)
Speaker: Parasara
Teaching: Historical
Quality: narrative
This verse frames devotion as joyful participation—Krishna is honored through refined song and instrument-play, showing bhakti as an intimate, lived experience rather than mere ritual.
Parāśara narrates Krishna’s lila as the Supreme’s accessible form—he gathers with the community, sharing their simple acts while remaining the one worthy of praise.
Krishna is presented as the Supreme Reality who accepts loving nearness; the community’s songs become a mode of recognizing his divinity through affectionate relationship (bhakti).
