Salam sujud berulang-ulang kepada-Mu, wahai yang memiliki seribu rupa; wahai yang berlengan seribu, bermuka dan berkaki banyak. Salam sujud berulang-ulang kepada-Mu, wahai Yang Tak Terukur, penggerak alam semesta, yang menegakkan kelangsungan, serta mendatangkan peleburan dan tatanannya.
Sage Parāśara (addressing Lord Vishnu/Nārāyaṇa in a mangala-invocation)
It asserts Vishnu’s all-pervasiveness and unlimited modes of manifestation, indicating that all forms in the cosmos are encompassed within His supreme being.
Through praise, Parāśara identifies Vishnu as the direct cause behind the universe’s manifestation (pravṛtti), its dissolution (vināśa), and its ordered continuance (saṃsthāna), framing the teaching as theology-driven cosmology.
“Aprameya” presents Vishnu as beyond full measurement by mind or speech—supreme, transcendent, and yet the operative ground of cosmic order—supporting a Vedāntic view central to later Vaiṣṇava philosophy.
