Mendengar kata-kata ibunya, budak itu meninggalkan ayahnya; dengan marah dia pergi ke rumah brāhmaṇa, iaitu rumah ibunya sendiri.
Sage Parāśara (narrating to Maitreya)
Speaker: Parasara
Topic: Dhruva’s early humiliation and the chain of events leading him toward ascetic resolve and Vishnu’s grace.
Teaching: Historical
Quality: compassionate
It marks the decisive break from worldly dependence and initiates Dhruva’s quest for a higher, divinely sanctioned sovereignty that culminates in devotion to Lord Vishnu.
Through Parāśara’s narration, Sunīti’s counsel becomes the catalyst that transforms Dhruva’s hurt into disciplined resolve, redirecting him toward a path where divine grace, not courtly favor, determines true greatness.
Even before Vishnu is explicitly invoked, the story frames ultimate authority as resting with the Supreme Reality—Vishnu—whose grace alone can grant enduring status beyond the fragile politics of royal lineage.
