पुलस्त्य उवाच पुरा हि विन्ध्येन दिवाकरस्य गतिर्निरुद्धा गगनेचरस्य रविस्ततः कुमभभवं समेत्य होमावसाने वचनं बभाषे
pulastya uvāca purā hi vindhyena divākarasya gatirniruddhā gaganecarasya ravistataḥ kumabhabhavaṃ sametya homāvasāne vacanaṃ babhāṣe
Pulastya berkata: “Pada zaman dahulu, Vindhya telah menghalang perjalanan Sang Surya, pengembara di langit. Lalu Surya mendekati Kumbhabhava (Agastya) dan, pada akhir upacara homa, menyampaikan kata-kata kepadanya.”
