Transliteration a̱yáṃ ve̱náś codáyat pṛ́śnigarbʰā̱ jyóti̱r jarāyū́ rájaso vimā́ne | imám apā́ṃ saṅgamé sū́ryasya śíśuṃ na víprā matíbʰī rihanti | upayā́magṛhīto'si márkāya tvā
Translation Vena ini menggerakkan (cahaya) yang berbenih berbintik; sinar yang berselaput, di ruang terukur di antara udara. Pada pertemuan air-air, di tempat pertemuan Surya, para bijaksana menjilatnya—seolah-olah seorang anak—dengan fikiran mereka. “Engkau diambil dengan Upayāma; untuk Markā engkau.”
