FAQs

This is a colophon marking the completion of a chapter, reminding the listener that the teaching belongs to the sacred Śiva Mahāpurāṇa and should be received with reverence and continuity in study (śravaṇa–manana).

Though it contains no direct ritual instruction, it situates the teaching within the Vidyeśvara-saṃhitā—well known for establishing foundational Shaiva worship (including Linga devotion and mantra-oriented practice) across its chapters.

The implied practice is disciplined scriptural recitation and listening (pāṭha/śravaṇa) as part of bhakti; one may conclude study with a brief salutation to Śiva and remembrance of the Panchākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya.”
