शिवपुराण-प्रशंसा (Praise of the Śiva Purāṇa) / Śivapurāṇa Māhātmya
उपोषितश्चतुर्दश्यां रात्रौ जागरणान्वितः । यः पठेच्छृणुयाद्वापि तस्य पुण्यं वदाम्यहम्
upoṣitaścaturdaśyāṃ rātrau jāgaraṇānvitaḥ | yaḥ paṭhecchṛṇuyādvāpi tasya puṇyaṃ vadāmyaham
Sesiapa yang berpuasa pada hari lunar keempat belas dan berjaga sepanjang malam, sama ada membaca atau mendengarnya—tentang pahala orang itu akan aku nyatakan sekarang.
