It teaches that mantra-sādhana matures through both inner practice (japa) and outer dharma (feeding brāhmaṇas), aligning devotion with purity and disciplined conduct that supports Shiva-oriented spiritual progress.
In Saguna Shiva worship, daily observances—japa, morning purity, and dharmic giving—are practical supports for focused devotion, helping the devotee stabilize mind and conduct for Linga-upāsanā and mantra-based worship.
Morning Gāyatrī japa (1008 repetitions) along with regular brahmana-bhojana (feeding brāhmaṇas) is recommended as a supportive discipline for mantra-siddhi.
