Dipuja dan dipuji dalam rupa Liṅga, demi tujuan mengurniakan penglihatan terhadap puteranya, Tuhan Śiva pun pergi ke sana dengan sukacita yang besar, wahai muni dari Svagiri.

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Jyotirlinga: Mallikārjuna
Sthala Purana: Śiva, pleased by praise and devotion, abides as liṅga at Śrīśaila; the verse frames the manifestation as purposive grace—Śiva ‘goes’ to the kṣetra to fulfill a devotee’s intimate longing (here expressed as ‘suta-darśana’).
Significance: Highlights the Siddhānta emphasis that Śiva’s anugraha is intentional and personal: He takes a form (liṅga) to become dṛśya (available to sight) and to grant specific boons that mature the soul.
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
The verse highlights Śiva’s responsiveness to sincere praise offered to the Liṅga—Saguna worship that draws the Lord’s grace into a devotee’s life, here expressed as the granting of an auspicious vision and fulfillment of a heartfelt aim.
It explicitly presents Śiva being praised “as the Liṅga” and then moving with joy to bestow a boon, showing the Liṅga as a compassionate, accessible manifestation through which devotees approach the transcendent Lord.
Liṅga-stuti and Liṅga-pūjā with devotion—supported by japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and a prayerful intention—are implied as the practical means to invite Śiva’s grace.
