Jaṭilāvatāra-Parīkṣā: Pārvatyāḥ Tapasāṃ Parīkṣaṇam

इदमाख्यानमनघं परमं व्याहृतं मया । य एतच्छृणुयात्प्रीत्या सुखी गतिमाप्नुयात्
idamākhyānamanaghaṃ paramaṃ vyāhṛtaṃ mayā | ya etacchṛṇuyātprītyā sukhī gatimāpnuyāt
Inilah kisah suci yang tidak bercela dan paling luhur, telah aku wartakan. Sesiapa yang mendengarnya dengan bhakti penuh kasih akan memperoleh kebahagiaan dan mencapai keadaan rohani tertinggi—moksha (pembebasan).
