The Manifestation of Shiva as Dvijeśvara
सत्युवाच । चन्द्रांगदो मम पिता माता सीमन्तिनी च मे । तयोर्याचे महादेव त्वत्पाश्वे सन्निधिं मुदा
satyuvāca | candrāṃgado mama pitā mātā sīmantinī ca me | tayoryāce mahādeva tvatpāśve sannidhiṃ mudā
Satī berkata: “Candrāṅgada ialah ayahandaku, dan Sīmantinī ialah ibundaku. Wahai Mahādeva, dengan sukacita aku memohon—kurniakanlah kepada mereka anugerah suci untuk berdiam dalam hadirat-Mu, dekat di sisi-Mu.”

A practical takeaway is daily Śiva-bhakti—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with the intention of attaining Śiva-sannidhi, supported by simple Śiva-pūjā (water/abhisheka) and remembrance.
