Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Paśupatinātha
Significance: Interprets worldly victory and kingship as dharma-sustaining fruits arising from Śiva’s grace; encourages offering sovereignty back to Śiva through righteous rule and devotion.
Role: nurturing
It highlights that victory and rightful authority arise from higher spiritual potency—here attributed to Ṛṣabha—implying that dharmic success is supported by divine grace rather than mere personal strength.
Though the Linga is not directly named, the Shatarudra Samhita repeatedly frames worldly outcomes as flowing from devotion to Saguna Shiva and His empowered agents; the verse reflects the Purana’s theme that Shiva’s manifested power safeguards devotees and establishes dharma.
The practical takeaway is to seek Shiva’s protective śakti through regular japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and disciplined dharmic conduct, aligning one’s actions with divine support before undertaking major endeavors.
