FAQs

It depicts how worldly power can surge with terrifying brilliance, yet such force remains within cosmic law; the Shaiva view emphasizes taking refuge in Pati (Shiva), the supreme regulator beyond Deva–Daitya fluctuations.

When the Devas are subdued and Soma is taken, stability is sought not in shifting celestial hierarchies but in Saguna Shiva as the accessible protector—worship of the Linga is the grounded refuge that restores dharma and inner steadiness.

Chant the Panchakshara mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) for protection and clarity, and maintain Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) as a reminder of impermanence and Shiva’s lordship over time and dissolution.
