Manifestation of Śiva’s Saṃhāra-Form
रुद्रलोकमनुप्राप्य रुद्रेण सह मोदते । ततस्सायुज्यमाप्नोति शिवस्य कृपया मुने
rudralokamanuprāpya rudreṇa saha modate | tatassāyujyamāpnoti śivasya kṛpayā mune
Setelah sampai ke alam Rudra, dia bersukacita bersama Rudra. Kemudian, dengan rahmat Śiva, wahai resi, dia memperoleh sāyujya—penyatuan dengan Śiva.

Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Significance: Frames the soteriological ladder: Rudraloka-prāpti → sāhacarya (rejoicing with Rudra) → sāyujya by Śiva’s kṛpā, highlighting grace as the decisive cause of final liberation.
Role: liberating
It teaches that the soul’s highest fulfillment culminates in liberation through Śiva’s grace: first attaining Rudraloka (nearness and divine companionship), and then sāyujya—intimate union with Śiva beyond bondage.
Rudraloka and rejoicing “with Rudra” reflect Saguna devotion—approaching Śiva in a worshipful, personal form (often through the Liṅga). That devoted approach ripens into liberating grace, leading beyond mere proximity to sāyujya.
The takeaway is steady Śiva-bhakti and grace-oriented practice—regular japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and Liṅga-pūjā; these are classic Shiva Purana means by which one becomes fit for Rudra’s abode and Śiva’s liberating compassion.
