पुरा युधिष्ठिरेणैव पृष्टश्च ऋषिसत्तमः । यथोवाच तथा वच्मि भवत्स्नेहानुसारतः
purā yudhiṣṭhireṇaiva pṛṣṭaśca ṛṣisattamaḥ | yathovāca tathā vacmi bhavatsnehānusārataḥ
Dahulu kala, resi yang paling utama telah ditanya oleh Yudhiṣṭhira sendiri. Sebagaimana baginda bertutur ketika itu, demikianlah aku bertutur kini—didorong oleh kasih sayang terhadap kamu semua.
