रावणस्य तपः-शिवानुग्रहः — Rāvaṇa’s Austerity and Śiva’s Bestowal of Grace

स्ववृत्तं ब्रूह्यशेषेण शिवाराधनसंभवम् । इति पृष्टस्तदा तेन रावणो वाक्यमब्रवीत्

svavṛttaṃ brūhyaśeṣeṇa śivārādhanasaṃbhavam | iti pṛṣṭastadā tena rāvaṇo vākyamabravīt

Apabila ditanya demikian: “Ceritakanlah sepenuhnya riwayatmu sendiri—yang lahir daripada pemujaan kepada Śiva,” maka pada saat itu Rāvaṇa pun mula berkata.
