FAQs

It teaches that approaching Śiva through sacred kṣetra-darśana and wholehearted Liṅga-pūjā leads to kṛtakṛtyatva—inner completion—because devotion to Pati (Śiva) loosens pāśa (bondage) and matures the soul toward grace.

The verse recommends worship of the Liṅga at Gokarṇa as a concrete, saguna focus for devotion; through reverent pūjā, the devotee connects to Śiva’s accessible presence and receives spiritual merit and purification that supports realization.

Undertake tīrtha-yātrā to Gokarṇa and perform sampūjā of the Liṅga—offering water, bilva leaves, and mantra-japa (especially the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with disciplined reverence.
