It teaches that outer worship (pañcopacāra) must be sealed by inner intention (saṅkalpa) and empowered by mantra and nyāsa—so devotion becomes a disciplined, consciousness-based approach to Pati (Śiva) rather than mere ritual.
The verse outlines a saguna mode of worship—offering services and invoking Śiva through the root-mantra—while ṣaḍaṅga nyāsa sanctifies the worshipper’s body-mind as a fit vessel to approach the Liṅga as the living presence of Pati.
Perform pañcopacāra pūjā with a clear saṅkalpa, repeat the mūla-mantra three times, and do ṣaḍaṅga nyāsa (hṛdaya–śiras–śikhā–kavaca–netra–astra) on the lotus filaments (or mentally on the worship-seat) to stabilize mantra-śakti.
