क्षालितांघ्रिर्द्विराचम्य धृतभस्मगुरुश्शिशुम् । हस्ताभ्यामवलंब्याथ हस्तौ मंडपमध्यतः
kṣālitāṃghrirdvirācamya dhṛtabhasmaguruśśiśum | hastābhyāmavalaṃbyātha hastau maṃḍapamadhyataḥ
Setelah membasuh kaki dan melakukan ācāmana dua kali, sang Guru yang mulia—berhias dengan bhasma (abu suci)—memegang kedua tangan si anak lalu membawanya ke tengah maṇḍapa (balai upacara).
