सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः
हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
कर्तुमर्हसि रामस्य साहाय्यं विषये सती।अथवा मैथिलीं दृष्ट्वा रामं चाक्लिष्टकारिणम्।।।।आगमिष्यामि ते वक्त्रं सत्यं प्रतिशृणोमि ते।
kartum arhasi rāmasya sāhāyyaṃ viṣaye satī | athavā maithilīṃ dṛṣṭvā rāmaṃ cākliṣṭakāriṇam || āgamiṣyāmi te vaktraṃ satyaṃ pratiśṛṇomi te |
“Oleh sebab engkau berada dalam wilayah kekuasaan Rāma, patutlah engkau membantu usaha Rāma. Jika tidak, setelah aku melihat Maithilī dan melapor kepada Rāma—yang bertindak tanpa gentar dan tanpa lelah—aku akan kembali dan masuk ke dalam mulutmu; ini kujanjikan kepadamu sebagai kebenaran.”
