सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः
हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
एवमुक्त स्सुरसया प्राञ्जलिः प्रणतः स्थितः।विवर्णवदनो भूत्वा वाक्यं चेदमुदीरयम्।।।।
evam uktaḥ surasayā prāñjaliḥ praṇataḥ sthitaḥ | vivarṇavadano bhūtvā vākyaṃ cedam udīrayam ||
Demikian ditegur oleh Surasā, aku berdiri dengan kedua telapak tangan dirapatkan, menunduk penuh hormat; wajahku menjadi pucat, lalu aku mengucapkan kata-kata ini:
